Over 700 turkey food baskets were distributed to 500 needy families last Wednesday before Thanksgiving

 

 

 

This was made possible by the generosity of so many friends and businesses in Vallejo, Benicia and American Canyon. As you know, we also serve over 120 breakfast , lunch and dinner daily to our homeless guests as well as the hungry from our community. Every Saturday, another 150 families receive help with food groceries. While our homeless guests live with us , we provide basic life skills and job training at our partner agency The Global Success Center at Mare Island. An average of 10 men and women are hired every month for employment. It is our goal to help every guest break away from the cycle of poverty and homelessness. The Reynaissance Family Center is the new addition to our services. It provides 16 beds for families with children up to 24 months. Our target is to have this center operating by May '07. Thank you for your assistance and partnership. Without you we would not have been able to help over 14,000 needy people in the past 23 years.
